I seem to have an issue with recorded programs and the ability to control them. When I start a program the video runs perfectly. Once I start trying to fast forward, I start having problems.

The video will be running fine in the background by I cannot get the VRM to show up on the screent o control the video. Matter of fact I cannot get the nouse to shop up on top of the video. Eventually the mouse will show up on top of the video but the VRM will not show up.

Also, if I click and try to drag the screen up of down. the screen moved bu the video doesn't.

Any Ideas???

Vrm Issues:

I cannot get the buttons that show up on the screen that fast forward, rewind, and pause the video as well as the summary of what the show is about. The Overlay does not show up at all. This happens after a few minutes. When I first run the video it works fine but then stops.

When I try to click on the screen to get the VRM to show up....the pointer goes behind (is hidden by) the playing video. If I continuously click the mouse button, the pointer will show up on top of the video (so you can see it) but it still doesn't activate the overlay so you can fast forward, pause or rewind the video. Instead the video runs perfectly in the background with no way of controlling it. In order to stop the video, I have to close down the program.

I hope this makes sense.

Can you try this video decoder to see if you OSD works: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/MPV_Decoder.htm

I'm having problems picturing the first part of this, but try that other decoder I've mentioned above to see if it helps. Normally GB-PVR hides the mouse after short period of inactivity, but it is shown again after you move the mouse more than 20 pixels. This 20 pixels thing (rather than any movement) is because early on a lot of users found their mouse made slight movements by themselves, possibly because of vibrations or similar.
