When i check the "Only show devices detected in this machine" Hauppauge pvr250, pvr250 with fm radio and pvr350 are the only choices for a capture card. I have downloaded and installed the hauppauge pvr150 drivers. Any advice?

Thanks

If you're positive you've got a PVR150, you can ignore the "Only show devices detected in this machine" step, and just set it up as a PVR150.

That said, there have been some instances of PVR250s being sold as PVR150s. You can check by downloading the ProdInfo tool: http://www.hauppauge.com/pages/support/support.html (see bottom left of menu). If you post the output of prodinfo, I'll confirm.

Spooky -- I get the same thing with my PVR-150. Confused me a little at first, but I soon learned to uncheck the "Only show..." box and go ahead and choose the PVR-150.

Not sure why it's not detected as a PVR-150, but as I soon learned -- that was the least of my worries!! (I say that not because GBPVR is a difficult/bad product -- but because this whole world of PVR-ness, Freevo, etc. is filled with trial & error, tweak & adjust, stomp & shout! What works for some won't work for others. But usually the good people on these forums offer enough suggestions that one of them will do the trick!)

Best of luck with your setup...
