Hi

I havnt followed this fully, but i have set up GBPVR and WEBADMIN so her indoors can set the recording up from the web, now i have had this working since almost day 1.

Its SUPER reliable so if you do get any issues it will be firewall or IP related, i am on a static IP address and have a 3COM perimeter firewall all setup, mine never breaks (get what you pay for though, Firewall was £400.00).

Anyway if anyone wants to see it (but you cant log in for obvious reasons) then heres the link (your IE browser needs to allow POPUPS for this to work).

Many Thanks
Ashley

Thanks...it looks like i may have this fixed, finally. I got the login box to come up using the anonymous browser, had an error in my web setup on the gbpvr box when i was tinkering to work on it. Can't go past the login though since the anonymous browser site i was on won't allow post operations without paying.....but i see no reason for it to not work now that it is showing up.

Important fact: Some people, depending on their setup and isp, will not be able to check this setup from WITHIN their own network (such as me). Smile

I now have this setup using dyndns, and a free utility (posted earlier in this thread) to keep my ip updated. Thanks for the help guys.
