Hi All

Thought I might make my first post on the forums a useful one rather than a call for help. Having used GB-PVR for 7 or 8 months now and with you guys having solved the few problems I've had so far, I thought I'd post this weird issue I had recently.

I'm running 98.13 with a NOVA T-500 twin tuner DVB card. I have XML-TV configured to download 14 days EPG data everyday from the Radio Times site (I'm in the UK) and it's been pretty much bullet-proof.

Over the weekend however, I noticed that the EPG data stopped at midnight of the 11th December. Having just rebuilt the PVR machine (now dedicated to the task) I guessed there may be an issue there. I tried the usual tricks, empty and reload the EPG, multiple reboots etc to no avail. Eventually I decided to go through the configuration step by step until I found something. Upon checking the path to the .xml file in the EPG setting dialog, I noticed that, although the path in the box looked OK, when I clicked the browse button, it took me to the GBPVR install directory, not the sub-directory where the .xml file resides. Thought that was a bit strange so I navigated down to the .xml file and OKed it. When I did the same for the second tuner, the browse button took me to the correct place, so I canceled out of there, OKed out of the config app and reloaded the EPG again - whereupon, it worked fine. Don't know what went wrong but something went awry.

I hope this is useful to someone in the future, it sure had me scratching my head for a day or two.

Anyway, thanks for all the support guys and thanks Sub for a crackin' bit of software - keep up the good work!
