I have several issues with my setup. I just bought a Kworld ATSC 110 installed with the DBA driver that came with it. For what it is worth, I can watch HDTV on my computer. However, there's major issue with recording as well as playing back a recorded (MS-DVR format) file.

Issue 1: I tried recording some files in MS-DVR format with GB. Anytime I try to play back, the play back program crashes instantly. I tried this with Windows media player 10, GB, as well as WatchHDTV's play function. Am I missing a driver or something?

Issue 2: I downloaded the Muxer according to the Muxer thread from AutoDVRconvert (Cyberlink muxer). Using this in recording, it seems to be recording (converting to MPG2 while recording). But I can't cancel the recording! The only way I can cancel is to change the Muxer back to MSDVR. What is going on?@#

Issue 3: Relating to issue 2, the timeshift function does not work.

p.s. If I tried to use the record function from WatchHDTV. But it is instant crash when I press the record button.

Thanks all for your help!

Nothing springs to mind, but do a recording then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Update: I realized I forgot to specify the decoder.txt for watchhdtv. I set the decoders (audio and video) to cyberlink video/sp decoder (pdvd7)/ CyberLink Audio Decoder (PDVD7). Now that program is crystal clear (way better than before) and all the timeshifting functions work.

I would like to get this working with GB. I will first try similar settings in GB to see if anything changes. Then I will get the log file and posted it.

Thanks a lot SUB!

You can specify the decoders in the config app on the playback tab.
