No, it still crashes on overlay unfortunately. I've been trying different audio settings. No luck yet with one that doesn't crash :-)

This is useful. It tells us the crash is occurring in the Cyberlink video decoder. Try switching to a different decoder, or a different version of the Cyberlink decoder.

Okay I'll try another decoder - although I'd swear it did it with the Nero decoder, but maybe it crashed before I changed it. If it happens again I'll post new Event info!
Thx.

I definitely changed the decoder in the GBPVR settings, but the windows error message looks the same! Attached is my config file - GBPVR appears to be ignoring my "Preferred Decoder" setting?

Yep, its still dying in the cyberlink decoder. There could be lots of reasons for this.

It might be best to try de-registering this filter. ie, run "regsvr32 /u c:\path\to\clvsd.ax"

Okay, I just uninstalled the POS Cyberlink player and we've gone about a week now without any crashings! I'll let you know what happens going forward. I was so excited about the crashes stopping that I went and got an HVR1600 to add to the system!
Thx a ton.

Awesome - the crashes are gone, and I'm able to record two things at once, and also not chop off shows that are back to back on different channels. Thanks so much for your help. Great, great software. Looking forward to what the future holds for it!
