I have a problem with my system not going into standby after a schduled recording. I have tried to install to GBPVRrecordingservice, that might solve this problem. But I can´t install it.
It seems like I need installutil.exe, but where can I get it.

Any other suggestions why it isn´t going into standby after a recording?

Maybe is it this issue in the survival guide?

The GBPVRrecordingservice is installed when you install GB-PVR. It should be listed in the Task Manager under the Processes tab and should be in the Services (Start -> Control Panel - > Admin Tools -> Services -> GB-PVR Recording Service).

Yes, I have tried to install the hotfix to solve the problem with EPG update. That way I was hoping to solve my problem with the system not going into standby after a scheduled recording.
But I can´t install the hotfix, instead I get the message that I need the installutil.exe to install the application.
Why is that, and how do I solve the problem?

Any suggestions?

My PVR was not going back into standby after a recording since I upgraded to 99.12. This replacement recording service seems to cure the problem.

I stopped the recording service.
net stop "gb-pvr recording service"

I made a copy of the existing gbpvrrecordingservice.exe

I extracted the new version to my gbpvr directory.

I restarted the recording service
net start "gb-pvr recording service"
