Minimum Install Requirements for Server

If I am going to install GB-PVR on a Windows 2003 Server (Athlon XP 3200+, 512MB, 40GB OS, RAID3 1.2TB storage, HDHomeRun), what are the minimum software requirements? I am only using GB-PVR for its PVR functionality. I will not be using it to view content (just recording). I will be viewing content on 2 network media players using different media server software (unless GB-PVR can do this). The players natively support MPEG and TS. I will more than likely use the EWA part of GB-PVR to set up recordings. The server will just sit with the recording service running. Besides installing and configuring GB-PVR, is there any additional hardware (video card, MPEG card) or software (do I need to install any codecs if I'm not viewing from the server?) that I will need to install to accomplish this?

If you're only recording in GB-PVR, then about a 1GHz PIII class CPU or higher should be fine - you can probably get away with much lower for just recording, but I dont where exactly that bar would be. These specs are what I usually indicate are GB-PVR's minimum specs, but that usually covers running the interface etc.

Sorry to sound like such a noob, but would I need any additional installs for the encoding? I know the external devices do their own decoding. I don't know if I need to install anything for the encoding portion (codec?).

You dont need to install anything extra other than GB-PVR to record. There is no encoding required with a digital device like the HDHomeRun.
