Hi

Under the dvd&remote tab of the GB-PVR configuration page, there are options to configure DVD playback via an ISO file. Once the config is saved and I lauch GB-PVR, there is no option to select DVD play back.

Anyone tried this before, am I missing something?

Thanks for the help,

Pat

There is another option under one of the tabs (DVD I think but can't remember right now) for setting up DVD related options.
There should be an option there to show DVD in the menu

You cant play DVD's via the MVP or PVR350 tv out, so it hides the button. I'm guessing you're using one of these?

I'm having this same problem with DVD's & VOB's. I also get this error message:

SelectVideoModePreference: NOT IMPLEMENTED.

That doesnt sound anything like the same problem as this thread.

I'm guessing that relates to the video decoder you're using for DVD playback.

You're right, I'm using a PVR350. There must be a way to get this card to playback non-encrypted DVDs or ISO.

WINTVOUT wasnt much help either.

Thanks,

Sorry, this is not possible with GB-PVR.

The only way I'm aware of that can be used to watch DVDs via the PVR350 tv out involves using Linux and MythTV.
