A couple of questions:

1) Can you set up the big green button to send the computer into hibernate?
2) This is probably a big no but can you also use that same green button to wake the PC from hibernate?

waking up from hibernation/standby with hauppauge remotes is definitely _not_ possible. at least not without some tricky additional hardware that e.g. triggers wake on lan or so.

sending it to hibernation is. you need a small exe which does this action and add it to the irremote.ini

or you just use the shutdown plugin Wink

I'm not positive on the hauppage remote but I think you'll need to use HIP or Eventghost to get something like this to work. Recommend you check out Eventghost. Search the wiki for it when you get a chance.

Was typing while betlit was responding so apparently you can't resume with that remote. Sorry. Check out that program anyways, you can do all sorts of things with it. Wink

I don't know if it helps. On the MS remote control, there is a different button, that by default sends the PC to suspend mode. By installing a tool called "MCE Standby Tool" I can manage to get the PC back from Standby (important for me, only because I couldn't override this button, so just in case I press it so I don't have to walk to the PC...).
