Aspect Ratio/Hauppage 45 Button Remote

Is it possible to setup the 45 button remote so that one of the buttons cycles through the aspect ratio settings(pill box, auto, letterbox, etc.). Many of the analog tv shows now are in letter box mode and it would be nice to one touch cycle through the aspect ratio quickly.

I had mine set up to use the Prev Channel button to call an f7 command (the aspect ratio change).

It's all in the hauppauge remote.ini file. Have a look for people setting up the green power button for launching gbpvr - similar method, but instead of gbpvr.exe you're calliung a keystroke (f7).

Before you remap one of the buttons in the "irremote.ini" file in your windows directory to "F7" to cycle through the aspect ratios, check which plugins you use and what keys they use. I had mapped the "go" button to cycle the changes but then I had limited use of showsearch! I recall someone suggesting that the closecaptioning button wasn't used in any plugin or the gbpvr program.

The actual change to the irremote.ini file is easy. For example, if you want to use the red button, it is

Red = {F7}

I used the red button to do this exact thing. The only plugin I used that uses the red button is Sports Scores, but it wasn't a big deal.
