HVR-1600 setup

I am noobian trying to get my HVR-1600 working with v.1.0.8. I have gone through the config but I cant watch live tv. I keep getting the error "no tuners are available to watch the selected channel." I opened the tuning assistant and it seems to find the channels just fine (the crappy WinTV the HVR comes with works too).


Can any offer any advice on what section of the config is set up incorrectly or provide the settings which have worked with their HVR-1600?

Can you reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs?

It Works!!!

I changed drivers and it suddenly works. For anyone else who is having problems with the default drivers, try switching to the most recent beta drivers found here:

http://www.hauppauge.com/pages/support/s...r1600.html

I would imagine most people on this forum are already using the beta drivers since they have QAM support.
