Sub,
I just noticed a bug in PVRX2. If I open PVRX2 and then proceed to close it immediately afterward, I get this unhandled exception (in the log) and also windows gives me the "send/dont send" error message.

However, if I open a recording and then proceed to stop the recording (by pushing esc) and then I exit, I do not get any error. This is also the case if I open and then close a video from the video library.\

If I try to close it before doing this, I get the error again. Thus far I have gotten there error from: the main window, the tv guide window, the recording window. Again, if I play a video/recording first, however, and then exit the error does not occur.

From the log, the most pertinent information is:

2007-08-02 23:06:35.642 VERBOSE [1] Preparing for shutdown
2007-08-02 23:06:35.657 VERBOSE [1] Exiting...
2007-08-02 23:06:35.704 ERROR [2] FATAL UNHANDLED EXCEPTION:: System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteException: SQLite error
library routine called out of sequence
at System.Data.SQLite.SQLite3.Close()
at System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteConnection.Close()
at System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteConnection.Dispose(Boolean disposing)
at System.ComponentModel.Component.Finalize()

I am also attaching the log file.

PS - I am using the updated PVRX2 executable with the comskip shift fix.

PSS - I just noticed that if I let PVRX2 sit for about 10 seconds without doing anything, it also exits without any problems (from all windows just mentioned)

This is a long standing standing bug and also effected GBPVR.exe (but to a lesser degree), and only happens if you exit the app before the EPG completes loading in the backround. Unfortunately the error occurs in a native library, and I'm unable to catch the error from .net and handle it gracefully.

The obvious workaround is to not exit too quickly Big Grin

Yep,
if you check my PSS (just updated this). I just noticed this as well. Being a C# programmer myself, I can understand where the problem is.

Thanks all the same!

Keep up the good work.
