I'm curious what the best dual tuner with HDTV is that will work with gbpvr.

I currently have the ADS Tech MCE-4000 and didn't see it on the support page. I am curious if there's any way to use it with some type of work around such as choosing a different model or something like that.

If not, then what is the best dual tuner card that has HD capabilities that is supported?

Thanks,

Can you run FilterCheck then attach the resulting FilterCheck.log: http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=1...ostcount=6

You should be able to get the digital side working by adding the following to the bda.ini file:

[ADS Tech MCE-4000]
TUNING_TYPE=ATSC
FILTER_TUNER=ViXS PureTV ATSC Tuner
FILTER_CAPTURE=ViXS PureTV Digital TV Receiver
PIN_TUNER_IN=Antenna In
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=TS Out

The analog side will probably already work if you select the 'ViXS PureTV' option in the Direct Recording Plugin.

From what I can see in filtercheck, this device cant do dual HD records. You can however do analog and digital at the same time.
