Updated video drivers, lost mpeg playback

and untick live preview

that did the trick, video's back now....although it looks very crappy now

as for audio, it still worked, but the audio decoder was "MPEG Decoder" and the renderer was "Directsound:Realtek AC 97 Audio"

switched back to the ATI Mpeg Video Decoder, quality is back to where it should be
although with both codecs, video now gets scrambled when pausing

fixed previous by switching back to overlay manager

the new version only uses vmr9 custom no matter what anyway
if you are using the pvrx2.exe so overlay no longer works
hence the reason you have to change a few things to get it going
pvrx2 uses directx

again I should have stated, I am using gb-pvr for the most part (less overhead)

but i know what your saying people just like falshy crap so sub figured he had to move with the times
me personally didnt mind how it was ive saved 99.12 as it worked well and was stable as
will keep using the new one but i find the video playback really hard to keep smooth so may still be going back to old version

I can't stand to watch the video in pvrx2 because it tears with the video settings I use, and for whatever reason, the interlacing algorithm simply put...sucks when compared to what's lifted from the overlay


I also vastly prefer the onscreen guide in gb-pvr
