Hi,

Before upgrading GBPVR to 1.0.16 (previously I was using version 0.99 I think) when I watched DVD's the "Menu" button on the remote functioned like a menu button on a DVD player, skipping past previews or pausing/exiting the movie to display the title menu on the disc. But now it seems to behave differently, trying to exit to the GBPVR menu, which in the X2 interface looks kinda weird (the video gets small but I don't see any menu items). Or sometimes it restarts the DVD from the beginning (starting with a copyright warning for example). Is there any way to control this function? It's fine to sort of minimize TV to return to the menu, but trying to watch DVD's without being able to skip ads in front for the menu will get old fast!! :-)

Thx!

When you're watching a video and press the 'menu/home' key, it switches video into a window and returns the user to the main menu.

When you're watching live tv and press the 'menu/home' key, it switches video into a window and returns the user to the main menu.

...DVD is just the same. I wanted it to all be consistant. From memory, if you press the ESC/Back button on the remote while the DVD is playing, then it'll return to the DVD menu. (if you press it again, it'll leave DVD playback mode and return to the GB-PVR screens)

There are some config.xml settings to change this behaviour but I'm away from home for a while, so cant check exactly what those settings are.

The setting on the old GBPVR.exe interface was
Code:
<DVDAllowVideoInset>true</DVDAllowVideoInset>
change it to
<DVDAllowVideoInset>false</DVDAllowVideoInset>

While I understand completely the desire to be consistent, I think this is one case where the 'consistent' behavior is not necessarily the 'right' behavior. If possible, it would be awesome if in the next version the setting that dark_half mentioned would work again. When watching recordings I prefer to be able to just grab the remotes and leave the keyboard! :-) Thx.
