reoccuring recording problem

Finally got the zip log files. Attached please see there is reoccuring recording on the menu but nothing appeal on the pending menu. This happened after 2 weeks of good recording. Hope the log files help. Thanks.

You have your machine set to update the EPG at 2am, but not to wake your machine. For reoccurring recordings to scheduled, including manual reoccurring recordings, you machine must be awake at this time since it is after this automated epg update that it creates and season recordings and manual reoccurring recordings.

Hi Sub,

I do not have any EPG update. The settings were default. I use my machine solely as PVR without any EPG update and in this case what should I set for the EPG portion? In fact I do not turn on my machine all day long. I only turn it on for recording and viewing. Other time it's off. Thanks.

You dont have to have a real EPG, but at the time it normally does this importation it also schedules these reoccurring recordings. ie, if it was awake at this time it would have been creating these recordings for you.

You can probably trigger it at ever startup by running: "PVRX2.exe -UpdateEPG"

After set my EPGUpdate to 12pm. My reoccuring problem disappear. Thank you.
By the way, can I set the EPGUpdate to never in Config App and put the shortcut to GBPVR.exe -UpdateEPG? Will this work?
