Excuse my ignorance if this is a basic question, but....

Is there any way to grab an internet radio stream and direct it thru gbpvr. In particular, I'd like to stream a radio station I can get from my browser (so I can probably figure out the streaming URL), and stream to my MVP.

The MVP will only play .mp3 audio files, though that file can be growing at the time, so if you can find a way to transcode/save the stream as a .mp3 file, then you should be able to tell the MVP to play it. This is what the net radio plugin does behind the scenes, but it only copes with certain sorts of radio streams.

I think if it is a Shoutcast stream, then it will play in GBPVR. Anybody else, please correct if I am wrong.

What I do with mvpmc is

1. copy the url to the clipboard
2. open the mvpmc web server
3. add the url and a title the default playlist on the page that opens and save it
4. use the filesystem to browse to /usr/playlist and open up default.m3u and play the new playlist entry. This is a direct http connection bypassing gbpvr.

There's a good utility called URLSnooper that helps find URLs for die-hards like me that love Internet Radio.

That sounds like exactly what I'd like to do. I can get to the webserver for the mvpmc, but any time I try to make ANY changes by clicking update or save button, I get "This page cannot be found" for any of the following URLS:
http://192.168.1.2/config
http://192.168.1.2/radio
http://192.168.1.2/mount

Do you think my version of the dongle is corrupted?

EDIT: Downloaded current alpha dongle, works ok now.... Thanks.

No but it might be a browser cache issue. Also make sure click return to configuration and NEVER use the back button. Before I added the server to mvpmc I was asked to make sure that pages couldn't be launched independently so there is a new token with each page.
