I have tried re-installing all drivers multiple times. I have ensured that my bit rate settings are on maximum for Live TV and custom record, I have fooled around with pretty much every setting in the NVIDIA purevideo config application. Short of buying a new video card, I am stumped as to what to do about my problem. Video in VLC from the hauppauge looks good, but not as good as before the crash I don't think. Video in GBPVR is marginally grainy no matter what I do. Taking it from overlay to VMR9 improves the quality somewhat, but it's still not as good as before, and before I had it on overlay. I have made no hardware changes whatsoever. I know my machine is 100% capable of doing what I want it to do, but I have no idea as to what in the world is wrong with the software setup, and what I need to do to fix it. I realize you guys have your hands full, and i'm really embarassed that I keep having stupid problems like this, but any advice is appreciated. I just want to be sure that I'm not overlooking some kind of obvious step or something like that in re-loading windows and GBPVR and all. Let me know. I appreciate your help.
