Hi all,

I've just installed GB-PVR and I'm having a few problems getting going - hope somebody here can help.

I'm running Vista and have a Philips SAA713X TV card. I couldn't find this listed under the recording sources in the config application, but selected 'BDA recording plugin', then 'settings' then checking 'only show devices detected in this machine', then got 5 devices listed (not including my card). I selected one of these, hoping it was compatible and carried on. (First question: is my card compatible, and did I choose the right option?)

Being in the UK, I selected DVB EPG broadcast and did a channel scan which brought up a whole load of channels, hit 'update EPG', and checked all the channels are listed under the 'channels' tab. So far so good, but when I load GBPVR and go to either 'TV Guide' or 'Live TV' I get the message:
"No channels have been set up. Please run the Configuration utility and set up the EPG source [...]"

As far as I can tell, this stuff is already set up in the config utility. Can somebody tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks!

Try deleting the "c:\users\<account name>\appdata\local\virtualstore\program files\devnz" directory then try starting live tv again.

Great, thanks - EPG and live TV seem to be working. I'm getting weird aspect ratio and scaling on some of the channels but I'll have a play and see if I can correct this.

Thanks for you help!
