Ah, sorry - I didnt see this bit.

Sounds like some thing more than GB-PVR has control over. I'm not sure what though.

I've sometimes seen purple or blue or green with the svideo inputs when no signal is present, but never with the tuner.

I'm going to try reinstalling the hauppauge drivers, and see if that doesn't cure it. If not, reinstall of windoze might be the only way..

I'd try retracing your steps first, because you know that the card worked. If it was me I'd uninstall the hauppauge drivers, Mpeg-2 decoder and GB (you can export your recordings and copy your database and config.xml files, that way you'll save all your settings). Try them one at a time or all in one go it'll only take ten minutes. You might want to throw in a graphics card driver reinstall as well.

If after that you can't get an image with the default hauppauge WinTV or VLC then I think Windows may have lost more than your user account settings.

Good luck, don't nuke it just yet Smile

Sub and Hairy,

Re-installing the Hauppauge drivers did the trick! GBPVR is now working fine. One strange thing is that I have my old saved videos transferred to the new drive. I changed both recordings directories from C:\temp\ to E:\TV\ in config, but GBPVR doesn't "see" the many recordings I copied to this directory. It's really not that big of a deal, but is there any way of fixing this?

Thanks again!
