Hi,

as I'm from Germany, do think it is possible to add local torrent pages in the search engine?

Im not sure whats happening with this - but i have an idea that might be useful:

I was playing around with Yahoo Pipes, which among other things, allows you to take multiple feeds, merge them and sort them using regular expressions to produce one optimised feed.
Its extremely useful and runs entirely off their server. if there is conflict as to which torrent feeds to use, perhaps this could be used to allow people to specify their own searches. It would also allow you to separate the torrent link from the different feeds?

Either way its a really useful tool, im glad i found it.

I was throwing around an idea, but don't want to duplicate it...

Basically, you'd have a list of shows that you are already recording, or perhaps a list of shows you're interested in, or you can 'type' in the show.

Then it would list the episodes, using the S01E01 format (I'm sure it would work in other formats.) You could click on it and get an episode subtitle and Description. THis is helpful to seeif its a show you've already seen or not.

I was going to do this for a simple search, in connection with UltraXMLTV, to help see if you've missed an episode.

I haven't done any work yet, but I can scrape pretty well, (thanks in part to shark)

Then you could pop a query of let's say 'Scrubs S04E03' over to a search engine. That would give a list of possible torrents.

I use ISOHUNT.com, and using this method works almost all the time, when searching a fairly popular title...

You pick the link that seems like the most seeds and sources and start downloading...

I used to ask 'why?' Now I just reinstall...

It would be very cool to have a standalone torrent app (i still think integration into utorrent using the 'folder monitoring' feature would be good) that also takes an input from UltraXMLTV to show show you might want to download because they are missing from the recordings, like a seperate sceen showing suggested downloads, and one for custom feeds so you could search for documentaries or sports events etc.

I hate the fact i'm like an backseat coder - make suggestions but cant code to save my life!
