This happens once in a while, not always.
Recording a show starting at 15:00 (Escape to the Country). Old repeat so want to cancel from the client PC in the TV room at 15:05
The dimmed comfirm screen went behind the recording menu for a number of seconds and then the recording menu went back to normal.
However the tray Icon stayed green and the show was still there as a pending recording being recorded.
Went through the cancel routine about a minute later again and it went away.
There is an orphan file of the first 5 minutes sat in the recoding directory that only a filemanager will get rid of as gbpvr doesn't know about it. It has the normal name, not a -1 or whatever.
should be recording service logs attached.

edit. I guess as the database wasn't updated, the rec svc still sees it and starts the recording again??
