i'm using the nvida decoders

is it actually active, i had a hell of a time getting them to work on my pc - had to play with graph edit to get it to go. When you play a vid, does the nvidia logo come up in the system tray? if it doesnt, its not running. There should be a tickbox in the decoder settings for turning on hardware acceleration too.

I have a Nvida logo but it's the control panel for my 5900 ultra and it's always there.. so i guess it's not working properly... thats disheartening

I will say that PVRx2 is running better (overlay) just the only issue is when the OSD comes up it gets well like i took a bunch of sharpies and put dots all over the sceen once the OSD goes away it's good

I ran the program decoder utility check from microsoft and it says that the preferred decoder is Nvida video decoder.

set your decoder (in gbpvr config) to system default and try playing video see if icon comes up

play it within gbpvr or anywhere

I tried it in windows and no it doesn't show anything in the systray

I think i read somewhere that the 5900 fx don't support truevideo
