I'm not really asking for a solution, since this seems to be intermittent and maybe isolated to only me. However, does anyone experience DVD navigation problems such as: you can't FF or REW or chapter up or down, but only on some DVDs? In my case it seems to be DVD dependent.

I'm using dvd navigator and cyberlink for the DVD decoder.

I have seen similar problems, but have not fully investigated since I use the DVD function very infrequently. IIRC, it was more stable and robust under the GBPVR interface. Since I went to PVRX2, and an LCD HDTV, I have had a number of issues. Currently, I'm using the Cyberlink PowerDVD6 decoders and the Cyberlink navigator, which seem to work with most, but not all, DVDs.

Previously, under GBPVR, I used Purevideo and the DVD navigator. I upgraded the video card from Geforce 6200 to 9600 Pro and am back to VMR9 Custom renderer.

I have experienced DVD problems as well. This only occurs with PVR2x v1.2.9 (not GBPVR v1.2.9).

The problems that occur are:
--------------------------------
1. FF and REW don't work
2. STOP stops the DVD from playing but causes PVRx2 to freeze frame instead of going back to the menu (GBPVR does this properly). Also, when this occurs no other PVRx2 controls seem to do anything. Also, if you press Ctl-Alt-Del (to pull up the Process Listing), the Process Listing will not always pop up in front of the frozen video so that you can kill the PVRx2 process leaving you with no other option than to hit the reset switch. Note, that the system is not hung as the mouse pointer still moves around the screen.

When they occur:
--------------------
These problems only occur if the DVD is plugged in and then PVRx2 automatically starts playing it. If the DVD is already in the drive (for example after a reboot) and you click on DVD from the menu everything works properly.

The DVD config is set to:
----------------------------
Navigator: Cyberlink DVD Navigator (PDVD7)
Video Decoder: Cyberlink Video/SP Decode
Audio Decoder: MPEG Audio Decoder
Audio Renderer: Cyberlink Audio Renderer (PDVD7)

Yep, this is basically exactly what is happening to me. Maybe if used the cyberlink navigator (which I don't have and don't know how to get without installing cyberlink)
