I am loving this product. Recording and scheduling work great and video quality is very good. THe only problem is that when I play back video, the window stops responding to my remote or keyboard events. I can't pause, FF, Stop I can't even exit. Even the popup controls don't respond. The only way I have found to kill the playback is to use my mouse to click on the GB-PVR tab on the taskbar and then hit the Back button my remote. I am using the following setup:

Latest GB-PVR
Problem happens in overlay or VMr7 (VMr9 not supported)
Cyberlink PowerDVD codecs

Winxp sp2
P3 1Ghz
512RAM
PVR150
i815 embedded video (maybe the problem?)

I just wondered if anyone else had run into this or had any ideas. Do I just need to ugrade to a cheap RAdeon so I can run VMR9?

Thanks!

what's funny is that I actually have a radeon 7000 agp sitting on my desk and this PC has no AGP slots! [Image: mad.gif]

In case anyone is having similar problems, I installed a basic radeon 7000 32MB (PCI [Image: mad.gif] ) card and everything is great with VMR9.  On higher res files the playback is jerky on a monitor, but plays perfect on my TV.  can't explain that one, but since I am leaving it on the TV, i won't worry about it.

I did think of something that may have fixed my problem.  When using the Hauppage remote program, the controls would not work when the overlay window was on top.  If I clicked on the GBPVR window and brought that to focus, the control would work (but I couldn't see the video).    think if I turned off the hauppage IR program and had GBPVR directy access the remote it would have worked.  I had checked direct control of remote, but didn;t realize that it won't work unless the IR program is turned off.  Maybe if I get bored I will test it, but for now It's working so I will leave it alone.
