Thanks for that - psi.log zipped and attached.
when scanning it shows strength of -34 and quality 99 which drops to both 0's when the second tuner is selected (no aerial) or the aerial is unplugged.

That psi.log shows that for some reason the device isnt delivering any data, other than some empty stuffing packets. I'm not really sure what to suggest for this. Its probably worth seeing if there is different versions of the drivers you can try.

Bummer - I can only find an earlier driver that doesn't work at all, even with dvbviewer.

Is there such a beast as a BDA tracer to see what the others may be doing differently?

Some manufacturers like Twinhan provide debug drivers in their distribution that can be used to view all sorts of info (using the DebugView utility). I'm not sure if Pinnacle provides something similar?

Looks like it's a no-goer. The XP drivers seem faulty, the later Vista ones work with XP and DVBDream works, but as above - no data...... I do pick 'em.

Just an update to this device. Things have improved with 1.3.11

With the current release 1.3.11 the device works if it has an external scan cache file (like the S350). But it doesn't get any scan data itself (although it does show the small channel screen when mapping channels.

bda.ini entry that I used. (just one entry for both tuners, use device 1 and 2 for the two tuners).

The pinnacle works with dvbdream and along with that, the tool here:- http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Utility/GBPVRPidGrab will create a suitable file.

All you need to do is run a failing scan with the current card (to get the cache file name in program files\devnz\gbppvr\BDA ) and then just copy the created file from the above.

Here's one that might get you started.
