hmm oh bugger. Just tried the patch and it didn't work.

Prolly not going to help you But I've just made a macro that i can run over the epg.pvr.geek.nz FtA listings which converts to sub style 1035-22-47 records.

If you have a text editor with macro capabilities, i can guve you the commands - it does everything but maori, parliment, stratos etc, just something that i can get the data for every 3 or 4 days... if I get time i may write something to convert the file - but I probably wont get time.

Yeah, I'm just using a batch file to download that file, use gzip to extract & convert to ascii /xml , then replace all of the channel numbers with the transponder ID's, then change any differences in channel names (so I don't get 2 channels in my guide)

Seems to work well.
The downloaded is called iOpus downloader, and gets called from commandline.

You can use it for all of the freeview channels I think - except Cue for some reason.

What are you using to replace the channel numbers with transponder ids?

Not that it seems to be a problem anymore, but I was using a freeware app called "Find And Replace Text" which I had in my batch file.

I actually created a line in the batch for each of the freeview channels I needed which has the text to find & text to replace.
(so FART.exe guide.xml "tv1.freeview.nz" " "1340-13-44")
This replaced each ocurrence within a file.

I think I was incorrect when I said replace channel numbers with transponders. (it was more the epg geek channels ID replaced with Subs versions)

Cheers

yip. and you may have to change the display name as well, things like "TV 1" instead of "TV1"

I like the look of that...I might see if i can get that little app.

I think it's on SourceForge, but if you can't find, give me a yell and I'll put it on my FTP.
