I have installed a Avermedia Hybrid Speedy PCI-e card. I can't get TV in PVRX2 though everything seems to be right in the capture source tab of "config". My card has been detected, the available channels scanned and EPG updated. But when I try to play the TV, I get a message saying "No signal found". I am able to watch TV in the AverTV software though the image is choppy. I was wondereing if I could get better results with GB-PVR. Can someone help? I live in Auckland, New Zealand. I am also attaching the log files.

It looks like its unable to find a usable combination of decoder. Make sure you have the H.264 and HE-AAC decoder options in the config app set to something other than 'system default'. If 'system defaut' is the option listed then you'll probably need to install some decoders. Most NZ users use the Cyberlink H264 decoder and Monogram AAC Decoder.

Thanks Sub, my H.264 pull out menu displays only system default. Does that mean I need to install a supporting version of Power DVD? I have only version 7 OEM and it has no support for H.264, though there is an option to enable hardware acceleration which I have done.

I dont know. You might be able to get by with some other video decoders. Some poeple have posted download URLs for the H.264 decoders in the past (Arcsoft/Cyberlink etc).

Thanks Sub, managed to get the card going and the results are fantastic. Now need to play around a bit and get used to the software. Thanks again
