PVRX2 takes ages to start

I'm running on a pretty decent machine with PVR-150 card.
PVRX2 takes ~4minutes to start.
Except for that nothing looks wrong.
Where do I start to debug this ?

Posting your logs would be a good start. Then the experts would be able to see which stage is taking all the time up.

Do you have an enormous number of channels and or days in your EPG?

As a datapoint, my system starts PVRX2 in about 4 seconds. Specs in my sig below.
