MDAPI works partially

Ok. If i understand correctly. for it to be working correctly, it should be working with "live preview turned off."

Now, MDAPI is running, Emunation(3.0.5.0) is running, it is grabbing keys. The keys are up to date. However I'm not getting any video/audio... I wonder if there is something wrong with my settings... as you said MDAPI should work without live preview, but it not...

I'd like to note that I didn't install any video codecs/mux or anything like that. For this test, i installed windows mce 2005, .net 2, vc redist, and all the driver... ...could this be the issue?

What I said was that MDAPI should work with or without live preview mode, with the exception of "live preview off" with "TS Mux" - this combination doesnt work.

It could be missing decoders. GB-PVR doesnt install any, so depends on those you already have installed.

Also, remember the recording service runs as a different user, so you wont see the MDAPI tray icon for either live tv with live preview off, or for recording.
