play DVD, left/right arrow on remote change volume

When playing DVD, the left and right arrows make the volume go up and down.

Yes, it does. Sub commented in another thread that it was for compatibility with an older Hauppauge remote if I recall correctly.

Note, the left and right arrows work to control the volume in most things, but it doesn't work in the audio library module -> you have to use the plus and minus keys to turn the volume up and down there and it doesn't show any onscreen indication as to volume level. The plus and minus work in all modules to control volume though, so if programming a remote via HIP, LM Remote Keymap, etc. it's best to program the volume keys to plus or minus rather than the left or right arrows.
