is there a way to record shows not in guide?

I know there used to be a way to do this, is there a way to type in "gymnastics" and it will sit and wait till it finds it in the guide like several days or months out??

"search guide" but it has to be in the guide somewhere to find it
its on the main menu unless you have disabled it

I could have swore that there was a way to type in a wild card word and gbpvr would keep an eye out for it to record it in the future even if it wasn't in the guide at all, just a word from the title or description..........

Have you looked at EWA - set up Auto-record to search for whatever you want and install EWA-AutoSearch to automatically check for new matches as often as you like...

That's the most confusing thing yet...... , I totally lost on EWA, I must have used some sort of plugin not here anymore, no biggie........

The plugin ShowSearch looks like it might have been it, but It won't work in the new Gbpvr Is there a way to force it to show up in the plugins in the config section ?
