The satellite co is always adding new channels, (most I don't want) and then Schedules Direct adds them to the guide info which then adds them to the PVRX2 guide. Can I stop that and stick to the stuff I have in the guide? A sort of "lock the channels" button?
Sorry, no there is no setting for this. It always assumes channels in the EPG source are ones you want.

No problem there, that really makes sence to me. Think it's the way I would want it.

However, I might have spoken too soon when I said problem solved. I only tried live tv, as soon as I tried to record, it "barfed" again. I then tried hitting pause in livetv and same thing. I ran filter check and it sees everything, but I get no turner available. I looked at the logs and get
Error starting live tv recording: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Iam sending the filter log and all the PVRX2 logs.

I think that did it Sub. I tried pausing live TV and that worked. Then I tried recording something (with no pre or post padding) and it came out with no sound. However, I think that was a glitch at the station, I recorded a second with 1 minute pre and 2 minutes post and it worked great!! Comskip even worked to perfection. I am trying another with pre and post to 0 now. Reason for no pre or post is I want to record back to back programs on the same channel, and think that would be the way with one tuner, right?

Well, I'm going to play with recording 3 shows on the same channel back to back tonight. With Comskip, I see why padding, it was rather abrupt going into the show. Why do I question your defaults?
