direct remote access crashes GBPVR

Hello,

I've been using the silver remote to control GBPVR with IR.EXE running. I would like to be able to control the program when its window isn't selected

I closed IR.EXE and enabled direct access in the config window. When I went to start GBPVR, nothing happened. The process appears in task manager, and it looks like it's using the same amount of memory. I terminated the process and ran IR.EXE, and it loaded just fine. (I'm guessing this is because direct access is automatically disabled when IR.EXE is running)

I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this issue, or if anybody has some tips. Is there any way to find out if required DLL's, etc. are missing?

Which remote do you have? What type of capture device do you have (PVR150/250/350/PVR-USB2)?

I have the Hauppauge 34 button silver remote. It came with the capture card, which is a PVR-250.
