Install Issues

Hello,

Had an issue with an old drive that had GBPVR on it. Removed the drive and attempted to reinstall on a newer drive. Unfortunately it rolled back at the last moment. I have found where this has been resolved with the latest version (1.3.10) but since the website is down so is the given link.

It would be GREATLY appreciated if someone could post a currently live link.

Thanks for the link but unfortunately it isn't the version I am in need of.
The sticky has the 1.3.7 release (doesn't install properly) but sub gave a link on a thread to a recompilation with a different installer configuration and labeled it 1.3.10. This is the version I need in order to install. The link is present in the thread but it points to the website which is not present at the moment (and apparently hasn't been for the past few days).

While searching for the thread to reference the 1.3.10 I ran across a thread stating an alternate solution. Using the sc delete "gb-pvr [etc]" to remove the recording service. Tried it and works.

Sorry, you're mistaken. There is no release newer than 1.3.7. If some had a mentioned "1.3.10", then it was mistake on their part.

1.3.7 is current release, and is the version I'm using.

I've just uploaded a repacked version that creates the service using the other mechanism described by Andlju above. You can get it from http://www.gbpvr.com/GBPVR09310b.msi.

If you have this problem, please give it a go and let us know how you get on.

Sorry...misquoted the filename and then translated the misquote to a version number before posting. Had though it said GBPVR10310b.msi which I translated into 1.3.10(b).
