Filename with "Ã " won't play

I tried to play a file from the recordingsmenu with the filename "Top 2000 Ã gogo - NED3 - 2008-12-26.mpg". This locks up mvpmcx2 on the PCH. Changing the "Ã " to "a" fixed it. It wasn's a hard lock up, since I could press the power button on my PCH remote to go back to gaya.

I believe this relates to a bug in GBPVR with extended ASCII characters being sent as double byte with the wrong length.

My recordings and livetv have accents striped out though.

Ok, it was a recording from Mediaportal that I imported to GBPVR. I do this from a MP plugin that I've created myself, so I could change the coding. Or is sub aware of this bug and will it be fixed next release?
