Remote sends same key for Play and Pause

I purchased a new xp/vista compatible remote and I am trying to make it work with GBPVR. The problem I am having is that the remote sends the same key for Play and Pause buttons(Media_Play_Pause). In GB-PVR, these are different (^p and ^q). I am wondering if there is a way to change them to be the same key throughout the gbpvr interface?

I set the remote in config to mce remote, I could not find a keyboard option.

I dont think so, but I'll see if I can add something. What remote is it?

An option for a play/pause toggle would be great - both my media keyboards are set up like this too.

I have the same issue with the play/pause function of my ATI Theater remote. Additionally, I can pause with the keyboard using the OSD, then play with the remote or keyboard, but neither remote or keyboard will pause a playing recording. I also have the MCE plugin selected. I will watch this thread hoping sub will come up with a fix.

It is very similar to the MCE remote, but it shows up as "composite USB device" which means it is a keyboard and a mouse. I was hoping that Play and Pause keys can be remapped among other keys.

If memory serves, I exclusively use ^p mapped to pause and that allows both playing and pausing in my setup.
