Give this version a go. It works well for me with both of the recordings you've sent through.

The most recent update was to filter out timestamps received on damaged packets. You had several damaged packets at the beginning of the Office recording, and it was reading some of the garbage as timestamps, resulting in the garbage timeline. It'll now ignore those packets.

Thanks Sub. I'll give that a go tonight.

Do you have any idea what would cause the damaged packets at the start of the file? My DVB-T signal reception perhaps?

Yeah, I'd guess the signal. These packets were garbage already by the time they were handed to the application, since the driver had set the transport error bit in the packet header.

I applied the patch and played back a few recordings that had previously shown the timeline issue and they all played back fine.

Thank you very much Sub.

Great.

I wasnt getting any damaged packets in my recordings, so wasnt able to see the problem you were having. The recordings you supplied made it easy to see the problem, and quick to resolve. Thanks.

Thanks Sub, I also applied this patch and it has done wonders. All my recordings playback without any craziness with the timeline.

Thank you very much Sub.

About half my FreeviewHD recordings have corrupted packets. I had to resort to watching them using Windows Media Player.

This latest tsreader is great and I can now view them without having to exit GBPVR. You should add it to your survival guide.
