This is just for information, for anyone in the US with FiOS.

I had problems with QAM signal quality when my router was on the same 1->2 splitter as my 2250, it also caused random crashes while scanning. When I moved it to a different branch of the cable network (separated by probably 3 splitters now) everything worked fine.

Hopefully this will save someone the grief that I went through!

cheers!

oh, and sub, QAM is awesome, thanks for all the hard work!!!

been a bit absent lately, busy at work (I am finding this isn't going to go away), and I just bought a house, so I think that qualifies as an excuse :p. also, it just worked (right up until we moved) so there wasn't much reason to be on here. but thanks to everyone on the forums as well, you make this such a nice little corner of the internet (maybe the only one!)

No worries - I know the feeling. I've been busy with my day job the last few months, so have been on much reduced GB-PVR hours. Good to see you're still popping in from time to time though.

yeah, I try to check out the forums, to keep up on the new stuff going on... chime in now and again, but I just dont have the time to go looking for problems to fix :p. maybe I will be able to get a bit more involved soon, but who knows!

I am really excited to try out how my PCH will work now! again, thanks for all the hard work on that front (Martin too!), I will let you know how it goes.
