Hi, All.
I only found gbpvr yesterday and I really like the look of it. I did have an issue with interlacing on HD DVB-T channels, but by reading this forum, I managed to sort it out by installing CoreAVC. To be honest, I'm still none the wiser what I actually did, becaused it just worked after a straight install.
The one issue I haven't been able to resolve is the s-video connection I'm trying to establish. I don't seem to be receiving any signal at all. I read in one thread, of there being a utility which identifies which device is which. I ran that and 15 minutes late, it still hadn't detected anything. I'm not sure how long it's supposed to take. I'm therefor not sure I have GBPVR configured to the right input. I've tried s-video s-video2 on Device 1 and Device 2, but it makes no difference. I still end up with a blue screen and silence.
I've previously tried Media Portal. I did find there that the sound and picture would break up, although the picture is more prone to it. The signal from the paytv box isn't low though. There are no issues with that at all. It works fine if I connect it direct from the pay-tv box (Austar, satellite) to the TV.
I've attached all my log files, partly because my understanding is that's what we're supposed to, but also because I haven't yet worked out what gets recorded in each log.
My next step is to configur IR blasting, but unltil I can get this other problem resolved, there's no real need for it.
