BBC HD - Problems recording and watcing in GBPVR

Hi - I've installed GBPVR and have set it up to allow me to watch and record BBC HD (this is the only channel i've set up as i'll be recording other channels on another PC setup that i have)

When i try to watch BBC HD within GBPVR, i get a brief snippet of sound and then the program will either freeze or simply crash.

Even though i cannot watch a program in GBPVR i can record it but here i've got 2 more issues. what ever i record is recorded with an aspect ration of 4:3. The picture is also very pixelated throughout the recording.

Please help.

Reproduce this problem, then zip and attach the pvrx2.exe-native.log and pvrx2.exe.log and I'll take a look. They logs attached to the previous post do not show an attempt to watch this channel.

GB-PVR just recordings the channel's original broadcast bitstream, and doesnt modify it in any way. If its show as 4:3 in some other player, then either the original broadcast was 4:3, or the player has some bug that causes it to display it as 4:3.

The picture is also very pixelated throughout the recording.

This makes me think you may have reception problems.

Those logs seem to look ok. It might be related to the audio/video decoders though. Some newer versions of Cyberlink PDVD8 dont allow third party apps to use them.
