Unhandled exception when running PVRX2

Hi,
I've just installed GBPVR. I've run the Config tool successfully but I get an error when I run PVRX2. The error details are:

After the error I see an 'empty' window with a red cross through it - like it can't create the control.
I believe I have the right version of the .NET framework installed, but am not sure how to verify it.

I'm using a Hauppauge WinTV Nova TD-500 PCI tuner card.

If I am reading your logs correctly, it looks like you have configured for client mode. You probably don't want that setting in the config program.

Yep, JavaWiz is correct. You've got it configured for client mode, and configured to use the PC in my lounge as its server , which aint going to work for you. Try unticking client mode.

Fantastic guys, thanks a lot. Looks like I didn't understand what client mode meant.

But I want to run in client mode so how do I get rid of the error? Seems that once you load .NET 3.5 it is time to move on to another HTPC there is no going back. And this is my primary laptop (i wanted to use as a client) so a reload is out of the question.

It sounds like you either dont have the correct server name, or havnt got the database share name set correctly. Post your logs and I'll see if I can tell.
