1.4.7 MKV playback problems

Hello,

I purchased a new computer, 3.0GHz Quad-Core CPU, 4 GB RAM, 1 TB harddrive, HDMI out on Motherboard, vista X64 ultimate. Installed the newest version of GB-PVR and started using it, and while watching MKV files of 720p video, all is fine for about 5 minutes, then video freezes and audio continues. I installed the k-lite mega codec pack before installing GBPVR.

I was using system default for decoding, I have changed them to everything under the SUN, but video still locks up.

Previous system was only a dual core with 3GB RAM, and 1TB hard drive, but it did have PCE16x Video card. Vista x32 basic.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks GOD, I still have my old system in case I need to put back the old system.

The decoder settings in the config app are not used when playing .mkv files. See http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=43869

SAF will play any MKV without any problem.
