I'll have a look at those settings at some point. It is working and better than nothing so don't want to mess too much Smile

One thing I really miss now that the TV card is in the server is the remote since its built in to the Nova-T 500. Looks like I will need a new one to connect to the client pc, here are the requirements.
  • xp/win7
  • for GBPVR, winamp, media player classic, etc.
  • RF remote would be awesome but an IR one may be ok
  • button assigning for progs/scripts

what do you recommend?

Thanks for the help so far!

I haven't used my setup in some time so hopefully my memory is correct and this may seem over the top. I had a novat500 and an older single tuner hauppauge card, the 500 went into the server and the single tuner card was in a client - the single tuner had no aerial input but i could still use the remote to control gbpvr. At least i'm sure that's how it worked - probably overkill though.

Haven't got any spare tuners or remotes so have been looking at USB ones, most are IR but don't say if they are a 'replacement' remote or a remote + usb dongle. Here's what I have found so far:
  • Emprex 3009URF MCE Remote Control (RF 10m)
  • CyberLink Windows MCE Remote Control (IR 20ft)
  • x10 MCE Remote Control (RF 10m) http://www.x10europe.com/pdf/OR22E-23E.pdf

I have no idea if they are any good or the ease of remapping buttons, etc.

Any help is appreciated.
