GBPVR and WinTV PVRUSB2MCE

Hello,

Does anyone know if the WinTV PVRUSB2MCE is the same as the WinTV PVRUSB2?

The WinTV PVRUSB2MCE comes with the MCE remote, but I want to know if the functioning PVR is the same (ie, works with the same drivers) and thus will work with GBPVR.

The Hauppauge support site doesn't specifically state, although the drivers 'appear' to be the same.

Thought I would check here before shelling out some hard earned cash.

Didnt know they did a MCE version of this hardware.... i dont see an issue, however i never used the remote thought the PVR unit itself so wouldnt worry me.

That said the drivers for MCE and standard where the same for all units, normally was either a low profile card with a MCE remote, if i remember the internal card never did IR they just bundled the remote in, not so sure with the PVR2 though as that has an IR receiveer if i remember...
