I got sick of Microsoft's Media Center and thought I would give this a go Smile However, my card (USB stick) a videoMate U2500F is not on the hardware dropdown when I try to add hardware. Is there anything I can do?

It should be useable for digital tv, but not analog.

If you run the filtercheck.exe in the gbpvr directory, then post the filtercheck.txt, I'll tell you what you need to add to your bda.ini file to add support for it.

Thanks for looking at this. I have a E700 in the same machine reported in the file but I cannot get it to work properly (to avoid confusion).

Try adding this to your bda.ini file:

[VideoMate U2500F]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER=VideoMate U2x00 Hybrid series DTV Tuner
FILTER_CAPTURE=VideoMate U2x00 Hybrid series Digital Video
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=Input0
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=Output1

Okay, that worked Smile

The sound is a bit weird though. It doesn't work (silent). However, if I pause it and then unpause it works perfectly.

Its probably related to the audio decoder and/or audio renderer you're using.
