You are using an MVP. I thought it just played everything with no configuration.

Assuming the file is MPEG2 yes, however the orginal question was there seems to be a difference between PAL and NTSC sized MPG2 files.... slighty confused here as you asked for the cut down file... now your saying there shouldnt be an issue...

so which log file do i look for to track down an issue
Many Thanks
Ashley

I am just making the comment that if your read the posts, everything seems a lot more complicated.
You have two possible problem, you either didn't load mvpmc properly, or the file is stored on a share that the MVP cannot access. I always like to get all the logs.

Not possible, the MVP pulls this, the MVP also plays others files without issues and shows menus, the only way that would be possible is for a corrupt BIN file in the DONGLE directory, and as i can view the weather meaning its loading it fine.

The MVP doesnt use shares, GBPVR sends i directly, again works with other files in the same directory..
Many Thanks
Ashley

Sorry I meant PVRx2 running as an MVP server. Anyway I will await your logs.

Yes I have a good reason. I don't want to waste time explaining which logs I want.
