Music Library Error

Whenever I play an mp3 from within the music plugin I get the message "albumartaggregator has encountered a problem and needs to close" No more info in the event viewer. The mp3 will play but that message will come up everytime a new mp3 is played. Anyone have any idea?

I know you will get this error from an NMT or MVP because by default the Music Plugin want's to download album art if it isn't found. You can also get Vista and Win7 UAC errors because the Music plugin isn't UAC friendly. This feature can be turned off in an ini file but I don't remember how.

this is on win xp home. and this is happening on the main computer hosting gbpvr

Did you try turning it off in the ini file as I wrote above?

i didnt know what ini file it is

Try music.xml and if there is sometime turned on or enabled set it to false. I don't have it on my machine now, and I haven't heard from MixMan in 2010.

that seemed to do the trick. it did take a reboot for it to take effect. thanks!
