I know I said in another thread that installing the correct mdapifilter.ax solved the problem, well it did not. I had gbpvr working briefly on a Win7 32-bit system, but for no obvious reason it stopped working. I have double checked bith mdapi and acamd versions and verified that they are correct.

I installed dvbdream on the same system, and with it I can watch one channel in the main window and two more (different) channels in pip-windows (an impressing sight, no lagging, no tearing and if I unmute the sound it sounds like it must have been in the biblical city of Babel during the greaf confusion Big Grin).

So acamd works, the cardserver works but gbpvr don't, and I can't understand why (I can watch and record unencrypted channels). Have I stirred myself blind or what? Logs attached, PsiLogProcessing=2 did not produce any file in C:\Temp.

I'm not that keen on spending time investigating mdapi stuff right now, since I'm not in a position to create patches for 1.4.7 any more. When we start pre-release testing for the next version in a week or so, I'm happy to help work through this with you.

That said, I'd have started by looking in the acamd monitor window to see what it says.

I fully understand your point of view, I was hoping someone had a similar expierience and some advice... The thing is that Acamd monitor doesn't say anything else than that is has connected to the server, which the NewCS window confirms. It looks almost if no data is sent for decrypting. Recording produces a file (about 800 kB for 10 min) but it is not playable and OfflineDecrypter does not reckognize it as an encrypted file.

Looking forward to the next release Smile

I have the same problems with Windows 7 (x64). Everything worked great with Win XP.
Did you solve the problem, or are you waiting for the next release?

I gave it up for now, as I'm taking part in beta-testing of the next release I haven't had the time to fiddle any more with it, besides, I have to buy an ordinary release of Win7 since the RC I had stops working soon.
